MRI of the dorsal spine Technique: SagittalT1 WI SE Sagittal T2 WI FSE Axial T1 WI SE Axial T2 WI FSE Findings: Mild upper dorsal scoliosis, convex to the right side. Reduced height and dark T2 signal of D7/8 and D8/9. marginal anterior spurs of the opposing vertebral end plates. Normal marrow signal pattern of the dorsal vertebral bodies and their posterior neural arches. Spongiosal hemangioma of D11 vertebral body. Normal shape, caliber and signal patten of the spinal cord. No MR evidence of intra-medullary demyelinating plaques. No MR evidence of frank disc herniation or significant bulge. No paraspinal collection or soft tissue masses. OPINION:Mild upper dorsal scoliosis. No MR evidence of intra-medullary demyelinating plaques. Dorsal spondylo-degenerative changes.
